Due to public request weve searched the archives for all the early Antichrisis stuff that just hardly or even never saw the light of the day. Though the following songs were released in 1995 on the first official Antichrisis-demo "Missa Depositum Custodi, they were never available to a greater audience as this demo was limited to an edition of 500 copies and was never re-released since then.
Looking back from today, this early material does sound pretty gloomy and sinister and isnt at all representative for the present state of our muscial development, but, well: this is how it all started! And dont forget: Its just demo-stuff, not some super-modern HiFi-state-of-the-art-stereophonic-suround-production: Some of these tracks were recorded on an no longer existing 4-track-tape-recorder in Sid's bedroom...
Welcome to part two of our Antichrisis retrospective! This time you'll find all the songs of side b of the no longer available demo "Missa Depositum Custodi" - we hope you enjoy it!

Beautiful Wolves (taken from "Missa Depositum Custodi")
We actually re-recorded this track during the "Cantara Anachoreta"-sessions, but as there wasn't enough space left on the CD we had to cancel its release. So this is the original demo version of a great love song with some haunting latin parts and a very catchy refrain.
Dark Consolation (taken from "Missa Depositum Custodi")
Another beautiful yet more quiet love-song that was written in May 1995. It didn't make it on "Cantara Anachoreta" because it didn't fit in its musical context too well at that time because of being a little bit too calm. Nevertheless it's a really well-done tribute to immortal love with some ravishing guitar solos!
Peace will come/Canon (taken from "Missa Depositum Custodi")
June 1995 saw this rather daring cover version, merging three of my all-time favourites: "Peace will come" was originally released in 1970 by flower-power-goddess Melanie Safka, and - as you can easily imagine - was a quite peaceful little acoustic track until Antichrisis layed its hand on it! Our version sounds a bit like Lemmy Kilmister on heavy sedatives!
We also included a bit of Johann Pachelbel's (1653 - 1706) Canon in D major, performed on a cheap Casio keyboard - I simply couldn't afford any better equipment at that time. And to make things worse, the last part of this song consists of the 1967 drug-befogged smash hit "From the Underworld" by The Herd (later to be really famous and awkward Peter Frampton used to play with them!), done in a very decent way by Antichrisis to deliver this rather bizarre "Hippiedom meets Dead Baroque Composer in Doom Metal Heaven"-melange!
Gleanncholmkille (taken from "Missa Depositum Custodi")
Written in September 1995, this song's dedicated to the little Irish village Gleanncholmkille in County Donegal, which is a rather magical and bewildering place where I spent a few weeks in the summer of 95. It's a song of faith, hope and devotion and it was performed totally unplugged long before MTV was invented!
